2026 Pickleball World Cup
Australian Team Nominations
Pickleball Australia is delighted to announce that Australia will be sending representative teams across all eligible categories to the 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Nominations are now open for athletes wishing to be considered for Australian team selection. Interested and eligible players should submit their application via the link at the bottom of this page.
Applications open: Friday 5 June 2026
Applications close: Friday 12 June 2026

General Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration, players must:
- Be eligible to travel to Da Nang, Vietnam, including holding a valid passport
- Be available to travel from 31 August to 6 September 2026
- Meet the eligibility and selection criteria outlined in the Pickleball Australia Representative Team Selection Policy
- Hold an active DUPR account (no minimum or maximum DUPR rating is required)
Age Eligibility – Pickleball World Cup Categories
- Open: No age restriction
- Senior: 50+ Pickleball years
- Masters: 60+ Pickleball years
- Junior: 18 Pickleball years or younger
- Kids: 14 Pickleball years or younger
* "Pickleball years” refers to the age a player will turn during the calendar year in which the tournament takes place.
Team Composition
Each division will consist of:
- 3 Male Athletes
- 3 Female Athletes
Categories include:
- Open, Senior, Masters, Junior, Kids
In addition:
- 1 Team Captain will be appointed

Open Division
- Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles
Senior Division
- Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Masters Division
- Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Junior Division
- Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Kids Division
- Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Prize Money
Open Division
1st Place – $25,000 USD | 2nd Place – $10,000 USD
3rd Place – $5,000 USD | 4th Place – $2,500 USD
Senior Division
1st Place – $5,000 USD | 2nd Place – $3,000 USD
3rd Place – $2,000 USD | 4th Place – $1,000 USD
Junior Division
1st Place – $5,000 USD | 2nd Place – $3,000 USD
3rd Place – $2,000 USD | 4th Place – $1,000 USD
Athlete Costs & Support
Athletes will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their flights, in consultation with Pickleball Australia.
Pickleball Australia will provide:
- Tournament entry fees, Team accommodation, Daily meal allowance, Airport and event transfers, Official team uniforms
Further information regarding logistics, timelines, and team expectations will be provided to selected athletes following the selection process.
