Exciting additions to the PAA team
Pickleball Australia Association (PAA) is thrilled to announce the additions of Brad Kluss and Liam Oke as the newest members of our team.
Brad joins as Tournaments, Leagues & Events Coordinator and Liam as the new Marketing and Communications Coordinator, bringing the total number of PAA staff members to 9.
Brad hails from the Sunshine Coast and is a veteran of the Australian Pickleball scene, needing no introduction for his ability on the court. Brad Kluss is currently the #1 ranked 35+ Men’ Doubles and Men’s Mixed Doubles player in Australia, having started his tournament journey in 2022.
Brad is delighted to have joined the team at PAA and can’t wait to start making inroads with his experience.
“As both a passionate player and advocate for our beloved sport, I am absolutely thrilled and immensely proud to be joining the team at PAA,” Brad said.
“Collaborating with clubs, State Members, partners and the sport's top players and ambassadors, I’m excited and eager to contribute to the expansion efforts that will elevate pickleball in Australia, making it the most exciting and inclusive sport in the nation.”
Liam joins the team as the first staff member living in Melbourne and has been working in the sports digital media industry for 3+ years. A newcomer to the pickleball scene, Liam is excited to embrace this new opportunity to push PAA’s online presence to the next level.
"I'm delighted to join the Australian pickleball family," Liam said.
"Pickleball is a sport with so much potential to grow and succeed, both here in Australia and globally. It's an honour to have the opportunity to contribute to this thriving community and witness its continued growth and success."
Both Brad and Liam will join the PAA team in hosting the Australian Pickleball Championships taking place at KDV Sports in Carrara, QLD from October 2nd to 7th, 2024.
