2024 APC Wrap Up
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every player for participating in this year’s Championships. You have created history.
This year’s Championships hosted at KDV Sports in Carrara were the fifth edition; with events held previously in 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. The event did not take place in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19.
With over 1,200 players converging on the Gold Coast, the event is solidified as the second largest tournament outside of the US with only the 2024 English Open attracting a larger participation base.
We were blessed with great, albeit very warm weather across the event and we thank the work done by Queensland Ambulance Service and First Aid Medics in taking care of those participants and spectators who succumbed to the conditions. If you were one of these players, we do wish you a speedy recovery.
Our main goal for this year’s Championships was to go above and beyond in delivering a memorable experience for all and ensuring we leave a lasting legacy for the Gold Coast.
Congratulations to our 2024 National Champions who include, Tom Evans, Michaela Haet, Mitchell Hargreaves, Joseph Wild, Somer Dalla Bona, Roos Van Reek and Danni-Elle Townsend. Your names are now etched in the history books.
As our attention now turns to reflecting on the event and planning for 2025, we do hope you take the time to provide your feedback by completing the survey below and contribute to ensuring your 2025 Trilogy Funds Australian Pickleball Championships are all that you want them to be.
Much gratitude goes to Kelly Williams, Event Manager for her tireless work over the past few months in bringing the event to life as well as all the volunteers, contractors, referees, sponsors, partners and staff for your ongoing support of pickleball in Australia.

There are too many referees and volunteers who contributed over the 8 days to call out here. But without these supporters of pickleball, this event would not be possible.
