First Australian Ranking tournament a success! Western Australia Pickleball Championships
9th February 2024. The 2024 Western Australia Championships took place from the 2nd - 4th of February 2024 at the Gold Netball Centre in Jollimont. 211 players took to the court for this years championships; an increase of 63 players on the 2023 Championships. Click above link for full story

Pickleball Australia launches official ranking system
10th January 24. Pickleball Australia is proud to announce the launch of Australian Ranking (AR) system in collaboration with our member associations, their affiliates and our partners. In 2024, 27 AR tournaments spanning across each State and Territory will cater for players in Opens, ParaPickleball, Juniors, 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ categories and will allow players to accumulate ranking points to their official Australian Ranking. 15th January 2024. A record 9000 members have now joined their local club or State/Territory Association across Australia. At the beginning of 2023 just over 4000 were members of Pickleball Australia; now we sit at 9000 and it can be credited to those at a grassroots level, driving our sport. South-East Asia Surge secure first draft pick in MLP Australia 2024 Draft Lottery
December 15th 23. South-East Asia Surge (SEA Surge) has secured the first draft pick for the MLP Australia 2024 season’s draft, secured via Draft Lottery earlier this evening. Led by captain Pei Chuan Kao, the newly formed SEA Surge will be debuting in the MLP Australia league in 2024 with the Melbourne Mavericks taking the second pick. As Kao is new to the league the first pick presents her with a unique opportunity to get ahead of her opponents with both talent and strategy.Click above link for full story,

Pickleball Australia (PAA), the governing body of pickleball in Australia, as part of the Oceania Pickleball Federation, has connected with the Confederation of African Pickleball and the Pickleball Federation of the Americas comprised of USA, Canada, and 27 other countries from around the globe, in joining the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF). Franklin becomes the OFFICIAL ball of Pickleball Australia
Pickleball Australia is delighted to announce it has signed a monumental multi-year partnership agreement with Franklin Sports, a leading manufacturer and retailer in the sporting goods industry. As part of the agreement, Franklin’s signature X-40 and X-26 balls have become the Official Balls of Pickleball Australia via member associations, clubs, individual members, and sanctioned tournaments. Queensland Pickleball Championships set Australian RECORD
6th July 23. The 2023 Queensland Pickleball Championships have come and gone and what a huge success they were. Over the four days, 516 players from every state or territory around Australia and even a large contingency of international players converged at Morayfield Sports and Events Centre to compete in the largest pickleball tournament in the Southern Hemisphere.
