Team Australia applications OPEN for the 2026 Pickleball World Cup

Gold Coast, Queensland, 5th June, 2026

Pickleball Australia is thrilled to announce that nominations are officially open for athletes and coaches to represent Australia at the 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, Vietnam.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Australian players across all age groups and divisions to compete on the international stage. We’re seeking talented, dedicated, and passionate individuals to wear the green and gold.

Athlete Nominations – All Divisions Open

We are looking for athletes in every category:

• Open
• Senior (50+)
• Masters (60+)
• Junior (18 & Under)
• Kids (14 & Under)

To be eligible for selection consideration, athletes must:

• Be eligible to travel to Da Nang, Vietnam, including holding a valid passport
• Be available to travel from 31 August to 6 September 2026
• Meet the eligibility and selection criteria outlined in the Pickleball Australia Representative Team Selection Policy
• Hold an active DUPR account (no minimum or maximum DUPR rating is required)

Coach Expressions of Interest

We are also accepting expressions of interest from experienced coaches who wish to be considered for appointment to the Australian Team coaching staff.

To be eligible for consideration, coaches must:

• Be eligible to travel to Da Nang, Vietnam, including holding a valid passport
• Be available to travel from 31 August to 6 September 2026
• Be willing to support Pickleball Australia’s values, policies, and representative team expectations
• Demonstrate relevant coaching experience and the ability to contribute positively to athlete performance and team culture
• Hold any required safeguarding or child-related clearances where applicable
• Be willing to work collaboratively with athletes, coaches, team management, and support staff
