Pickleball Australia Partners with Franklin Sports and rebel for Exclusive Franklin Pro Clinic

Pickleball Australia (PA) partnered with Franklin Sports, provider of the X-40 official ball of PA, and leading sport retailer rebel to host the Franklin Pro Clinic. This event brought together international pickleball expertise and Pickleball Victoria members to elevate the game for Australian players.

The clinic was held at the flagship Rebel store in Emporium Shopping Centre, Melbourne CBD, on Monday, 2 February 2026. Global pickleball stars, including Megan Fudge, Sofia Sewing, Casey Diamond, Ryler DeHeart, and Jai Grewal, led the sessions, with more than 30 members in attendance.

The clinic began with an in-depth dinking tutorial, emphasising court positioning and paddle placement for control and consistency. Participants then joined the pros on court for a hands-on demonstration, applying the techniques in practice. After that, a friendly competition for the longest rally of volleys took place with a pro on one side and a participant on the other.

The clinic concluded with each pro showcasing their serving techniques, followed by a Q&A covering key topics like strategy, shot selection, training drills, and other pro insights.

Overall, it was a massive success, with all participants having the chance to have a hit with the pros and learn some tips to improve their game.PA extends its thanks to Franklin Sports & rebel for partnering to make this event happen, and to Megan, Ryler, Sofia, Casey, and Jai for generously sharing their time to provide an enriching and insightful clinic.
