Pickleball Australia partners with Sports Medicine Australia
Pickleball Australia (PA) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) are excited to announce a new partnership.
Through this partnership, PA members can now access discounts on SMA’s nationally recognised HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 – Provide CPR courses. These courses are designed to give you the skills and confidence to manage emergency situations.
"We are very pleased to announce our partnership with Pickleball Australia," said Jamie Crain, CEO of SMA.
"Sports Medicine Australia intimately understands the challenges that sporting organisations have in implementing appropriate health and safety measures for their members. Making First Aid and CPR education available for parents, players and volunteers is a simple but pragmatic step to embed best practice early within a growing sport like Pickleball."
Brendan Lee, CEO of Pickleball Australia, added, "Partnering with SMA is a huge boost for pickleball in Australia. PA is committed to giving our dedicated members the training and tools they need to handle health emergencies both on and off the court. Offering highly regarded and recognised courses adds significant value to our training and development programs. As a trusted and reputable organization in the industry, SMA will help us upskill the knowledge and skills of our staff, volunteers, players, and officials which will benefit everyone who participates in the sport.
