Pickleball Australia Representative Team Selection Panel

Pickleball Australia (PA) are thrilled to announce a dynamic Representative Team Selection Panel, taking a pivotal step forward in our mission to elevate pickleball nationally; and also play an important part in helping Australia strive for podium positions on the international stage.

The newly appointed panel is composed of esteemed individuals who met the required criteria. The distinguished members of the inaugural panel are:

• Aaron Blitz (Individual Member)
• Julie Campbell (Individual Member)
• Mark Taylor (Individual Member)
• Jens Lang (Independent Member)
• Mike Newell (Team Australia Coach)
• Kaden Hensel (Non-Voting Chair)

The first official duty of the panel is to determine the Australian team who will compete at the 2025 Pickleball World Cup in the USA. This 12 player squad (6 Open and 6 Senior players) will compete against 50+ other countries from across the world in what is Pickleball Australia’s first time competing at the event.
